Can you believe that January is almost over??? I sure as hell can't. I am not sure where I have been or what I have done this month, but it is practically over. I know, I have been MIA from blogging, and like I said, I have no idea what the hell I have been doing. Wasting time I guess because I sure as hell do not feel work accomplished for the start of Q1. One thing I know for sure....it is hella cold here in Kansas City today. What? Is it winter??? I hate winter, and I guess I still had hopes for the mild mild winter we had last year. I am pretty sure March boating is not in the cards for 2013.
Here is what I think I have been up to.....
--Working out. I have actually (up until this week) been very good about going to 24hr fitness and walking/running on the treadmill in the morning while watching Nashville on my iphone Side note, I really like that show. I have also done some 2 a days and done Zumba or Power Flex at night with Jess. I have even tried PiYo which is a combination on Yoga and Pilates. I must say, even as a dancer I was not the most flexible gal...well I really am not flexible at all anymore.
--Cooking. One thing I really loved about staying in town for the most of January was not eating out. J and I were very good and I cooked/threw food in the crockpot. We only had dinner out on Saturday night. I loved opening the fridge and having it look like, someone, other than a bachelor lives at our home.
--Our new church group. J and I were asked to join a small group at our church. It is technically for couples with small children, but the age of the couples fits us great. We meet every tuesday and everyone seems super nice and I like that we are becoming more active...slowly but surely. I am sad we missed this week and I will miss next week due to work as well.
--Basketball. Peyton is on a pretty competitve basketball team. St. Charles is very different from Plano in that from what J tells me, there are no middle school basketball teams. Basically all basketball is through the high school and you are on a feeder team, where the high school coaches coach some of the teams. A kid from our baseball team's Dad is the Freshman coach for Ft. Zumwalt South, not Peyton's high school,, but asked Peyton to be on the team. (not sure if that back story was needed or not) Anyways, we are currently playing in 3 leagues with the same team, so have about 3 games a weekend. All the leagues have different rules, so I stay somewhat confused. I mean, I only did the half time performace growing up! I am learning and the games are exciting to watch now that the boys are older and understand what is going on. We even play one 4th grade league which is really exciting to watch.. That one year makes such a difference, those boys are so much bigger than ours, but our Dogs give them a run for their money.
--Hockey. It is FINALLY hockey season, This makes for a happy husband. We are even going to the Blues game tonight.
--Puerto Rico. I leave sunday morning for Puerto Rico. I know, I have a rough work life. Our national sales meeting is there. I am super pumped to get out of the cold and have a few moments to spend on the beach. I am flying down a day early to enjoy Monday on the beach. Other than monday, we have a pretty jam packed week of meetings and trainings. We have expanded our facility down here so on tuesday we are taking a 2 hour bus ride to the plant to tour it. Basically, I have spent this week thinking of what the hell I am going to wear and can I get all of the clothes in my normal large suitcase, and not resort to my extra large large suitcase.
--BFF's wedding in Dallas. I will fly direct from PR to Dallas on Friday for BFF's wedding! J will meet me in Dallas with my prepacked wedding suitcase. I have like 3 options of dresses for the wedding and 3 for rehersal dinner (hey, I could be forever remembered in pictures and want to look nice) We have a fun filled jam packed wedding weekend. Hopefully a brunch with my sister will be in the works as well.
Wow, this was a long post for me! If my IT department would update my computer, I'd be able to post pictures again.....so frustrating.

Zumba
As I mentioned in my post yesterday, J and I joined 24 hour fitness last week. One thing I was excited about was the amount of classes they offer. I did have my favorite classes at my previous gym, but they were very limited on options. Last friday, I ventured out by myself and tried one of the Zumba classes. I went again to another Zumba class last night. I have done Zumba before, but it was over 6 years ago before anyone really knew of Zumba. I was just fortunate enough that a cute little cheerleader type blonde had been in South America and learned it there. Flash forward to now....Zumba is a huge craze and I didn't really know what to expect. My hips do not move the way they once did and I think I look like quite the awakward dancer now....did I really used to be a good dancer??? Things flowed much easier last night and some of the routines even had a more hip hop base. 60 minutes flew by and I forgot how much I loved taking dance classes. I may have to look into finding some real dance classes in St Louis.

Hello 2013
I can not believe I have not posted a real post in quite some time. I'd like to say it was because I was extremely busy with work and decorating my house, but that is just not the case. I think I have just become lazy and can't seem to think of anything witty to say. However, I did want to take the time to post some updates and some New Years resolutions before it was summer!
2012 was quite the roller coaster of a year. I celebrated one year of marriage as well as one year at Sartorius. We took a family vacation to Texas and took a tour of Cowboys stadium. We spent the summer at the Boathouse and on our own boat with little to no issues. We had our first full summer with Peyton doing the one week on and one week off schedule. I learned more about little league baseball and basketball. We moved into a bigger house (without divorcing!). Attended one wedding. Survived Warrior Dash. Hosted Christmas Eve and NYE. Joined a church. Saw Peyton Manning play live at the KC Chief's stadium. Shot my first gun at a range. Went to Aruba. I am sure there are many more, but those are the few I could think of off the top of my head.
2013 is going to be another great year....I hope. I never am very good about sticking to my new year's resolutions, but I am happy to say, we did stick to a big one. Last year, J and I resolved to start going to church. New Years fell on a sunday in 2012 and we stuck to it and went on New Year's day. I can honestly say you can count on both hands the numbers of sundays all year that we missed. And if we missed, it was due to me being out of town for work or baseball games. I am very proud that we stuck it and we are now getting invovled in a small group on tuesday nights.
This year, I resolved, to get and stay healthy. I know, I say it every year....lose weight. Just like everyone else, however, I just need to find the right balance of getting and staying healthy. I want to eat out less (when home and possible), I want to try new work out classes at the gym. I want to run a few miles....without walking in between. J and I joined 24 hour fitness last week. My old gym was not convienient and J wanted to get back into working out. We have yet to go together, but I have been very happy with the body pump and zumba class I have taken. I resolve to cook more of a variety, Since moving to St. Charles, I have done much better at cooking. We have made a point to eat at the table and not on the couch. I am very happy we are doing this, it seems more traditional and family oriented. If I find a good recipe, I will of course share it with you. I resolve to kick ass at my job this year. I want to make some commission money and I just need to find my motivation and get with the program.
I hope everyone is having a good start to 2013!

Who knows
Well, I am so sorry that people are not able to see the pictures I posted. I can only equate it to my internet explorer not being the most recent version, however I am not able to update it myself. I did write to my IT department to see if one could update it for me. I could not tell him, the reason I need it updated is so I can upload pictures to my blog, though. It is weird because from my computer, I was able to cut and paste the pictures in and I can see them, but when I go to my blog on my phone I could not. For some reason, when I click on the insert picture, I am not able to pick from files on my computer like as before. Therefore, I will delay my photo challenge seeing as how it is kind of hard to do, if no one can see the picture. Any thoughts of how to get around this? I would be happy to entertain thoughts!

Photo-a-day: Day 3
For the week of December 10-14, I was in Chicago for part two of an outside sales course and product training. As much as I hate training, I love getting to see everyone that I work with. I am in an industry where most of the time, I am working alone and independent of anyone else in my company. I do cherish the times that I get to have face to face conversations with my collegues. One of my favorite people is based in Maryland. We didn't have to be in Chicago until 7pm that monday, but I met her at the hotel monday morning and we took the train and went into the city for a drinking lunch and shopping. I am blessed that I pretty much enjoy all of the people I work with and I thought I would share a picture of some of us on the dinner cruise on lake Michigan. (much to my surprise, there were other crazy people doing the dinner cruise in mid Decmeber!)
Photo A Day- Day 2
I am still going to refer to our NYE/ Housewarming party for this picture as well. I know I have not posted many pictures of our new home. I apologize for that. The main reason being, we have hardly anything hanging on the walls and I don't want to show our house unfinished. However, this picture can give you an idea of my bookcases. I am using them to display our china and what crystal we do have. I am also displaying many of our wedding gifts. I also love this picture of my food table, because everything on it was given as a wedding present, including the placemats! I loved having people over for the sole purpose of seeing all the great gifts we got for our wedding. I love chip and dip trays and registered for quite a few....3 on display here!
January Photo A Day Challenge: day 1
Seeing how I was just called out for not blogging much in the month of Decmember, I am doing BFF's photo a day blog challenge: I will try and do this in a timely fashion!
Day 1: I felt this photo was fitting for New Year's Day. This picture is from NYE, just the night before, at our NYE/House warming party. We had about 25 people over (including kids) to celebrate the new year with and show our home too. J hates taking pictures, so I am sure he was equally annoyed with me wanting a good NYE picture. That is the downfall of the digital age....I can see if I like the way I look in a picture and re do and re do until I get one I like. Back in the day of film...it was always a surprise when you took the film to get developed. So here are the Blair's on NYE:
