Days of Thanks: Day 29

On day 29, I am thankful for the ability to listen to my smart phone through my car tape deck. Yes, I said it...tape deck.  I am rocking a 2003 Toyota 4Runner which at the time had both a cd player and a tape deck.  Laugh if you must, but I use the heck out of that tape deck. I have one of those tapes with cord on it that plugs into my phone or ipod to play music or what not.  Today, I listened to a few sermons on line from my childhood church.  There is something about driving across Interstate 44 that makes me want to listen to sermons, but with out fail, I always do.  I guess it could be all of the wonderful christian billboards, next to all the adult porn ones that affects me so.  My minister from Christ United Methodist Church in Plano, Texas has all of his sermons archieved on the church website, so I started with January and just keep listening,  It made my 6 hour drive home to St. Louis go by quicker.
